藤谷治さんが精華大で講演！
以前ここでも書いた傑作青春小説『船に乗れ！』(ジャイブ)。その作者、藤谷治さんが精華大で講演されることに。
『船に乗れ！』。思い出すだけで胸が熱くなる。
もう素直に楽しみ。
思わす、今はパブロ・カザルスのバッハを聴いてしまう。
『船に乗れ！』は、音大の附属高校に通う主人公の成長を描いた作品。
変わった教え方をする哲学の先生、美人だけど影のあるピアノ教師。ずっと主人公を見守ってくれているチェロの先生。線の細い美形で才能に溢れた親友。勝ち気で男っぽい同級生の少女。そして、主人公に忘れ得ない思い出を残した美しく才能溢れる少女。
やや頭でっかちででも日々を懸命に生きる主人公はチェロと出会い、さまざまな体験を経ながらシンフォニーを仲間たちと奏でる。
これほどクラシックを読みながら心を震わせるテキストなど殆ど無いだろう。ましてフィクションでは。
だから今度の10月26日は本当に楽しみ。
